Kei Oikawa is a contemporary artist who creates installation and mixed-media art. She is interested in expressing what is happening in the world and what may happen in the future. As materials and practice, she uses found objects, clay, drawing and painting. Her work combines a wide range of materials, and the use of familiar objects is intended to connect art and reality. In the most recent project, Kei has been exploring a combination of found objects and clay pieces that she has made. The project aims to visualize the situation of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic and people’s connection to it.
