SHADOW FIGURES
Wherever we go a small patch of darkness follows us whether it’s the natural effect of light or something more sinister is uncertain.
In this series of life size paintings I use my own body as a tool aiming to recreate some of my own paranormal experiences. They offer a glimpse into the cracks of time between past and present, waking and sleeping, what is known and what is feared.
Today in this time of lockdown and social distancing the Corona virus has become our “Shadow Figure” following us daily and haunting our dreams.
