“?/!” is a digital media work, focused on exploring the relationship between information and digital media, reality and illusion through people’s imagination of war. What is the real war? For those who have not experienced war, we can only understand it through the news and different media. In this era of advanced information, we receive information from different aspect everyday, but we do not understand what is hidden behind this information. Just like my title, “?” represents all information; “/” is the medium for transmitting information; “!” represents the unknown behind all this information. The purpose of this work is to arouse people’s awareness of the media and digital through this video of simulated war.
