Making the well-maker space – Film and Discussion

This short film and discussion explores notions of design and making for health through the creation of a care home garden for East Sussex County Council.  

During these extra testing times for care homes and an ongoing backdrop of low morale and bad press for social care, we discuss how design and collaborative making can help. Through this live research and practice project we look at some approaches taken by UOB staff and students and care workers exploring how we make design inclusive as a process and the how ‘re-making’ with recycled materials might support the health and vitality of a real care facility.
