Many people tend to portray a perfect self in order to please others, but ultimately get lost on the way to loving themselves. Psychologist Carl R. Rogers states that love is a deep understanding and acceptance. This work expresses a process of development beginning with over-focusing on the eyes of others to gradually learning to love oneself.
